Fees are payable to the teachers for the cost of the lesson they provide.
Where the music school offers a service to teachers to collect fees on their behalf, the following applies:
For new students, initial payment of £30 is required, which is a non returnable fee to book a place on a course. It also provides you with all the initial course materials the student will need, plus a music bag, practice book and pencil, issued at the first lesson. No money is taken until the teacher is certain that a course will run. Ongoing payments by Direct Debit start one month after the first lesson.
Payment is made by Direct Debit paid at the start of each term and the lessons cost £18 per hour.
Payment of the non-returnable deposit is required before a pupil can join a class, charged to the Direct Debit.
Cash or cheques are not accepted as regular payment for lessons.
From time to time additional fees will be payable for course materials and exams.
An administration fee of £10 for each missed payment will be charged. For overdue fees, interest may be charged
You can stop at end of any term or half term subject to giving 5 weeks notice in writing – details in the terms and conditions.
Teachers collecting their own fees will advise you of their own arrangements.
